Album Notes

With a positive attitude, a lust for life and a gritty determination Tamsin is passionate about what she does. Her distinctive voice and striking melodies beg the question - Why haven't we heard of her before now?
WIDE OPEN SKY is a collection of 12 magically crafted songs that show a flare for capturing moments in time. The richly emotive 'Dance Like No-one Is Watching' is set for huge commercial success, the beautiful and powerful title track 'Wide Open Sky', and hauntingly simple 'Thin Ice' show passion, maturity and versatility, and together with a stack of other singalongable melodies, it's an impressive debut.

Great collection of songs that are sung powerfully but at the same time with such feeling. Surprised that this album has not received substantial commercial airplay because without doubt there isn't a bad song it. It's the sort you put on in the car time and time again and never tire of. A must for any collection. If you only have enough money to buy one CD then make it this one!!

Sarah Mclachlan Meets Paula Cole With A Touch of Top 40 Blend

That's the way I see it. She sounds like Sarah Mclahclan at times and then Paula Cole at others and each song is touched with a Top 40 flavor without being too overproduced, keeping Tamsin distinct and very real. Some songs are beautiful and some are incredibly catchy, with very touching lyrics altogether. There are many star tracks on this album but the ones that jumped out at me were All My Fault, Someone Better, Macefin Avenue and If You Could See Her Now. This album should be recognized for the great voice and passion this singer holds.
