The CD was really great. I tend to like the first CD better, maybe because I play it often. The band is very talented. I feel that the artwork on the new CD was very creative and appropriate.

From top to bottom, this is an engaging record from an excellent ensemble
author: Steve Byrne - Detroit Free Press
TANGERINE TROUSERS HAVE A ROOTSY SOUND AND GREAT MELODIES: Some roots records have a tendency to be rootsy to a flaw -- melody takes a backseat to making sure everything sounds really really real. Not so with Tangerine Trousers, who with "Dressed for Success" solidify themselves as one of the {Detroit} area's top Americana-styled acts, mining classic pop, country, folk and more to delightful effect. The neatest trick is that nearly every song on this 10-track collection has an instantly memorable, hummable quality, the kind of stuff that leaves you begging for another spin.
