Six years ago four guys got together for a jam to see if something could come of it besides a good time. We knew almost instantly that, with some work, we could create a band that would play the kind of music we wanted on our own terms. Thus, a band was born. Tangled Roots is firmly planted in the bluegrass tradition. With over 100 years experience they produce fresh music delivered with high energy. Valley Road is a collection of 14 songs that came to us from various sources. These tunes have grown on us and we hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoy performing them!
