The secret is out! The sassy sultry diva they call Tarsha has finally arrived!
Tarsha markets talent in various aspects, but remains completely focused on her true passion, music.
This singer/songwriter had kept her secret hidden for many years. I guess you could say she was a "closet singer". Well closet no more. Here to provide you with an original sound, original production and an extremely diverse style from R&B to Soul and from Hip Hop to Pop, Tarsha will surly set a new standard for many music genres to follow.
You will find that Tarsha possesses keen songwriting skills where her lyrics not only have true meaning but also carry melodies that will make you immediately want to pay close attention to.
As a child maybe age 7 or 8 Tarsha would team up with her older brother Ron and perform for her father and his guest at a moments notice. While Ron would mimic the great Michael Jackson's "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough" Tarsha would sing love ballets such as Natalie Cole's "Our Love".
Together they both kept their audience begging for more.
Throughout her youth this alto became a member of various choir groups. At age 10 she joined the "Voices of Joy" youth choir, under the direction of Ms. Eva Hurt of Cedar St Memorial Baptist Church. By age 13 Tarsha had climbed aboard an extremely powerful teen choir "Voices of Praise" AKA "VOP" under the direction of a very talented Mr. Shawn Stovall. The choir traveled to many different venues to stake their claims as the strongest teen choir in our area.
When in high school Tarsha would go on to be members of the George Wythe High School Girls Advanced Choir, under the direction of Ms. Gloria Alexander and the George Wythe High School Marching Band.
By her late teens Tarsha was scouted by a representative of John Casablancas Model/Talent Agency/School where she soon became a student. Here she learned all about the modeling industry and worked various model jobs to pay for her schooling. Tarsha has appeared in various magazines such as "Sophisticates" and several Braids & Beauty magazines.
She has worked with world re known photographers like Mr. Eric Vonlockhart in New York City and interviewed with a top agency in Atlanta called About Faces Model & Talent.
Tarsha could also be seen strutting her natural catwalk down the runway in venues mostly in the Washington DC area under the wing of the fashion phenomenon "Ean" with Ean Productions. Throughout the glamour and glitz of the modeling industry Tarsha continue to write music and poetry and soon began her quest revealing the "Best Kept Secret".
As a student of TK Music Academy Tarsha continues her education and training in music where she strives to utilize her vocal skills to the fullest. Here she works with an amazingly talented vocal coach Ms. Tarnisha Keel who challenges her to become the best vocalist she can.
According to Tarsha, this is a non-stop learning process and she believes any good artist should always continue to grow.
