Tastiera music is a techno-pop soundtrack to the agonizing confusion of one geek's life. The lyrics are topical, and the music itsefl typically involves a big bass/drum foundation, piano, synth, some Mexican Strat guitar, and raw but passionate vocals.

Album Notes

This album features a bit more guitar than "Decades" or "Stratospheric", and the piano is more prominent as well. The lyrics tend to lean toward fear of death and the unknown, but the level of musical experimentation is as high as ever, leading to a very diverse group of tracks.

The Alleged Artist is in his early 40's, and he has been composing music since the early 1980's. All of this traces back to when he received a pink toy piano from his parents at the age of three. After breaking said piano, his parents - apparently either slow learners or indiscriminately generous - bought him a real one. Eight years of piano lessons later, he got an electronic keyboard and formed the (one man?) band Velvet Cockroach, which eventually evolved into Tastiera, and the rest is history, or at least now it is.

He currently lives in his home town of Denver, Colorado, with his infinitely patient fiancee and a mentally unstable cat.
