Album Notes

It all began in the 70’s with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Charlie Daniels, and Marshall Tucker.

It continued with The Outlaws, .38 Special, Molly Hatchet and Hank Jr. It was carried into the new century by Van Zant, Montgomery Gentry, and Shooter Jennings. Whether you call it “Southern Rock” or “Country Rock”, one thing for sure, you can always call it “Great Music”. It’s music that has very few boundaries, hard rockin tunes, ballads and most anything in between. As long as it has words you can understand and tells a story you can relate to. Stories about life, family, and love. Common ground...common people. That’s what Southern Rock is about. That’s what Charlie Tatman and his new CD Free & Easy are all about.

This CD proudly shares that same Southern Rock bloodline.
The new release, Charlie’s first with CMG Records Nashville, is full of music that you will listen to over and over again as it sparks memories of your life and times... good times, bad times, we’ve all been there sometime or another. Every life needs a soundtrack and this is it. Common Ground...Great Music. Check it out... We know you’ll agree!
