Album Notes

Ambient/techno with cyber-spirit...The Doorway is alblum number two in the Double Mirrors Anthology. This album was created as a soundtrack to go along with the book "The Doorway," published in 2001.

The Doorway features cyber-spiritual ambient electronica musings by Dylan Tauber / Son of Waves Studios, an artist based in Jerusalem, Israel.

This SWS project began as "RAW" -various loose tracks not included in the Double Mirrors Soundtrack, and some new raw, unfinished tracks. This evolved into a new alblum in 4/99, with a flux of new tracks including the popular "Revolution is Comming:" and "Hack the Planet." The original Son of Waves Studios Project, "DoubleMirrors Soundtrack" contains 24 tracks and is also for sale as well. The Project Double Mirrors CD ROM, released in 1999, is also available.

The Doorway includes ambienet/techno film soundbyte soundscapes about drugs and doctors;. . .a chilling soundtrack inspired by armegeddon visions. "Warning- you have entered a contaminated zone. Please evacuate immediately. ..." Ambient soundscape featuring american indian, middle eastern samples....

and even voice mail messages from Nicki, a penthouse pet Dylan met online while in Miami, this part only with slight techno ambience.

Dylan Tauber is a digital artist/photgrapher/ambient techno artist based in Jerusalem, Israel and also has travelled around the world and lived on various islands.
