Bend The Rules is the 6-song debut CD from Taylor Longworth, former lead vocalist/drummer for row of chairs, a band from eastern South Dakota which flirted briefly with success with their 4-song EP, 'tracing a line'. A drummer by chance, a singer/songwriter by choice, Taylor picked up the acoustic guitar after his sister Polly's then-boyfriend left his copy of Neil Young's 'Harvest' album with her. Though the rest is not necessarily history, the guitar became something which needed to be conquered, though not yet so even to this day.
Bend The Rules was slated to be, in the words of the artist, a boxed set spanning the recording career of the artist. Well, obviously plans changed, life was lived, and
the writing and recording goes on.
