Terra Nova is Taylor's Universe's seventh release, and the second to be released by Russian prog-label, MALS.
Taylor's Universe was formed in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1993 by composer and multi-instrumentalist Robin Taylor. Over the years the band has included several high-quality musicians from the Danish rock and jazz scene, and on this album we find Karsten Vogel (of Burnin Red Ivanhoe and Secret Oyster fame) on saxophones and Bass clarinet, together with session drummer Rasmus Grosell. Together with guest performers, Hugh Steinmetz (trumpet and flugelhorn)and vocalists, Louise Nipper and Jytte Lindberg, the group serves another very special dish of progressive jazz-rock, that isn't comparable to anything else, you've heard.
