Soul, Pop, R&B artist Taylr is on a mission to put more wholesomeness into the music of today.
By using the music of yesterday Taylr and producer/keyboardist Cori "Fader" Jacobs (Lauryn Hill, Pussycat dolls, Beyonce)
were able to bring the past into today with Taylrs Debut album "Intervention." Taylrs melodies just screamed Louise Armstrong,
Fats Waller, and Donny Hathawaye to me." "So we went in that direction but with todays sensibilities." Her producer adds.
The album touches on the glamourization of being perfect and skinny, in the song "Today". She skims the subject of revenge
on "Teach me how to break a heart" and she ask the question about the state of music today on "Where did the music go?"
Taylr is a very metaphoric writer with a great melodic sense. There is something on this album for everyone.
