Album Notes

Taz Taylor is a self confessed guitar nut and music nut. He does not follow trends or fashions of any kind in music. He just makes his music from the heart. Dinosaur Rock Guitar.com in a review of Caffeine Racer said.'...this recording would have been ground breaking in 1982. In 2004 it is merely excellent.'
Comments like these, inferring that Taz has dated ideals do not faze him in the least. As he says 'Good music will always stand the test of time and stand up by itself, regardless of whether it is in fashion now, at the time it was created or at any other time for that matter!'
Caffeine Racer is Taz' first full length all instrumental all original C.D. Taz played guitar, keyboards and bass and was joined in the studio by drummer Calvin Lakin. The results speak for themselves.

Stong melodic guitar instumental
author: Metal Mark
Really strong effort by this relative unknown. I was expecting Satriani but his tone is much more closely alligned to Michael Schenker. A very smooth and melodic sound. He has some great chops but is careful not to overindulge. He picks is spots well and has crafted some wonderful songs. A really enjoyable listen!!!
