ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Blue Vipers of Brooklyn are an acoustic early jazz, swing,
and blues band, composed of resonator guitar/vocals, upright bass, homemade washboard percussion, trumpet, and saxophone.
Their repertoire of witty songs with moving yet often bawdy lyrics and catchy 4 part vocal harmony always draw large crowds. The lead vocalist Billy Nemec learned his craft busking on the streets of New Orleans. Their music is upbeat, energetic, and infectious.

When I listen to these sounds I feel happy! Who could ask for more than that!? You're the greatest jazz swing band I've ever heard for sure!

I heard you in Central Park this past Sunday, and bought your album "Good night Harry" Your music is very inspiring for my son who is 16 and plays Trumpet. We would like to see you again, perhaps in the park or in one of the clubs.
Best of luck.

The band played at my son's wedding in October 2008, and I loved the music. I bought a CD soon after, and now just bought 2 more as gifts. Ya have to feel good when listening to this. it's great!

Stumbled on the Blue Vipers in Cenral Park back in 2005 whilst on holiday. Super band and a super CD. I hope to see more releases by them in the future.

First heard the band in Central Park when visiting New York last year. Bought the CD Goodnight Harry and decided to add the new CD to my collection. Great music, always makes me happy when I listen to it. I live in Great Britain where the Vipers are attracting a whole new set of fans thanks to these CDs.

I just saw these guys in philly yesterday afternoon. WOW! Absolutely fantastic. Can\'t wait for the next album as the 2 current ones are great. The arrangements were fresh on the classic songs and classic on the new ones. Timeless.
