What do you get when you put a smattering of folksy country violin, a dash of pop sensibility, a smidgen of the Waterboys and Wonderstuff, mixed with a generous helping of great lyrics? This show becomes the Cedar Waxwings, and it's boiling over in my CD player this moment. -Cake Magazine The groups songs do not reflect as heavy a folk influence as they do that of country and bluegrass, with a dash of post punk attitude. -Twin Cities Reader This is the perfect bar-b-que music-"Baby Come Home" has an early rockabilly feel and the title track begins with an indian raga like fiddl/distortion duel. There's a better side of us all that can't deny the joy of just plain being around. -City Pages
