This album is the nuts

DMFS may not be pretty to look at, but they got some serious "disposition". And if you don't know what I'm talking about, you need to go out and buy this cd now. I used to only love their single "You're Too Skinny" because it reminded me of the great Wu-tang style. Then I listened to the rest of the album and I could not believe my ears. Yes, DMFS is raw, but they have so much energy and imagination. "I Wish I Was A Black Man" has got to be one the the greatest musical masterpieces of the 20th century. In this one song alone can you see all of DMFS genius: throat sounds, their signature screaming, various rap styles, and their rendition of "Somewhere over the rainbow". They don't go at this album alone though. Kokomo Jackson and Matthew Lesko make guest spots on several songs. This album will not disappoint. DMFS is a true original in the autistic community and its time they got some due respect

AWESOME!

This is the band's most polished record to date. It is full of ASS-KICKING guitar solos, hysterical lyrics, and hooks that are catchier than Herpes. Do yourself a favor and pick this record up...and pick up thier CDRS while you're at it...and DEFINITELY see them live. Nary a more entertaining band exists in the land.

GNR + Zappa + Johnny Cash = DMFS
author: Nick Carraway
The album sounds like a mix of Guns N' Roses (lots of hard rock guitar solos and riffs), Frank Zappa (funny and intelligent lyrics), and Johnny Cash (when country was punk, before it turned into pop schlock).
There's just all sorts of great stuff on this album. The production is top-notch (there's even a full orchestra in one of the songs), and the hooks are so catchy that they'll be repeating in your head non-stop for weeks. And there's also some sort of indefineable energy in the songs that seems to be lacking from most rock music on the radio stations these days.
In all, a definite 5+ for this album, and for the band. Can't wait for their next one!
