The members of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra Wind Quintet from 1977 to 2007 included Principal Flute Ervin Monroe, Principal Oboe Donald Baker, Principal Clarinet Paul Schaller, Principal Clarinet Theodore Oien, Principal Bassoon Robert Williams, Principal Horn Karl Pituch and Principal Horn Eugene Wade.
