Okay, so this is about trying to come to terms with this life without letting it turn you dark and cold. Watching friends pass, listening to the knocking of nothing, the deep abiding fear, the love lost. Looking for direction from god, friends, poets, Richard Rorty ... keeping track of those who have fallen by the wayside... burned their last match and grope through for meaning ... trying to take a warning and not follow them that way.
