The Meantime

by Michael Teaney

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
“It’s great morning music”
-Jonnie Downs, Nashville TN

“With each listen it's completely fresh and provoking”
-Carolyn Alterio, Chicago IL

Michael Teaney is a musician living in Nashville Tennessee. He is a classically trained guitarist who loves acoustic music. He picked up the banjo about ten years ago and has since been creating a very unique style of music from many spheres of influence. He grew up in the Appalachian Mountains and the music of that area has heavily influenced his style. His classical background is also very apparent. There are hints of jazz, blues, and even rock n’ roll that surface when listening to his music making it quite hard to categorize. The Meantime is his latest work and is a collection of instrumental acoustic pieces.

I can't stop listening to it...
I got "The Meantime" as a gift, and it hasn't been far from my CD player since. This CD is perfect for anyone who likes great instrumental acoustic pieces. This guy is superb.
