Album Notes

The Tearmagnets are a unique blend of three very specific talents. Oliver Harris is on guitar and vocals. He has been hailed as one of the Bay Area's unsung guitar heroes in BAM Magazine in 1989. Oliver plays guitar like you've never heard anyone play. He creates on the spot with an unparalleled brilliance.

Dennis Dove is on drums and vocals. Dennis is one of the finest, most precise drummers in the Bay Area. Dennis also sings and is a cross between Luciano Pavarrotti and Marvin Gaye. He is a truly gifted musician all around. Dennis has played with Archie Lee Hooker as well as many other distinguished acts.

Chris Ellis is on bass and vocals. You may know Chris from her solo project as well as with the band Throwing Roses. Chris is a female bass player who has played with jazz great Jules Broussard and distinguished country musician Fred McCarty. Chris studied under the tutelage of Myron Dove, formerly of Santana.

Together the Tearmagnets have warmed up stages for the likes of Clarence Clemmons, Dave Mineketti, Rik Emmett, Tony McAlpine, Ronnie Montrose and other big names too numerous to mention.
