REVIEWS

So I'm biassed

Yeah, Okay, I'm sister of the pianist in this duo. But I still think it's a great CD and I echo Joan Powell: imagine turning Whiter Shade of Pale into something listenable. It's my fault Fiddler on the Roof is there: I demanded it....fabulous South Australian arranger Timothy Sexton created them something so hard to play it almost never saw the light of day! But a great showcase for their talents.

Tea rose duo..the best of
author: Joan Powell
I have 4 Tea Rose CD's and this is my favourite! What a wonderful, ecletic choice of music. Some songs are just so much better when you don't have to listen to inane lyrics eg A Whiter Shade of Pale....my all time most loathed song. Instead you hear the beautiful melody played so passionately simply by piano & violin. The sound is evocative of a past grand era and is just delightful to listen to. Go on, do yourself a favour and listen to this CD!
