Ted Russell Kamp has found a home in the country rock world. This album combines classic country with '70's rock and modern alt. country. Some of the songs lean toward the Booker T and the MG's soul side of the tracks featuring organ and horns, others are Stonesy rockers, all about the scratchy vocals, the guitars, and the wurlitzer, and others are weepy waltzes covered in pedal steel.
The music is classic, yet original. It's been worked out in studios and sweaty bars, in roadhouses and honkytonks up and down the west coast. Ted's voice is sweet and soulful, with harmonies like Gram and Emmylou, and a backing band like the last Beatles records.

author: TanyaI heard him first with shooter jennings, whom of which i love and have went to see twice now. Then I seen Ted had cd's out on Shooter's site and when I listened to it I had to have it. It is a great CD.
