In a world of increasing stupidity, sectarianism, and conformity, one could only hope for someone to say something of a different grain. With this album Ted King has succeeded admirably, offering a gateway into the world of the unsung hipsters of America trying to find spiritual guidance within the Cool in a world of idiocy. Even if you don't like the album (which is weird), you cannot deny the shining quality: Style with a capital S. If there is a neo-beat movement out there, Ted King is a rising star.
