Blue Love is a collection of songs written over a span of nearly twenty years, and is a glimpse into the heart and mind of singer-songwriter Chris Koch (pronounced "Coach").

It showcases an ecclectic collection of remarkable and well-known New York musicians, including:

- Eric Weissberg, of "Dueling Banjos" and "Blood on the Tracks" fame.
- John Widgren who performs with Western Caravan and Commander Coty
- Ben Perowsky who has played with John Scoffield, Mike Stern, David Torn and currently works with Joan as Policewoman
- Jim Donica who has performed with Maynard Ferguson and Joe Strummer
- Charlie Burnham who has performed with Cassandra Wilson and Medeski, Martin & Wood.

Sometimes reverent, sometimes ridiculous, but always thoughtfully crafted, the country-flavored songs on Blue Love makes this CD a fitting companion for an otherwise solitary journey.

The songs on this Album range from beautiful to poetically prophetic to just plain fun! My Favorites are the Title track BLUE LOVE , ALMOST HEAR A HEARTBREAK, BURROW BACK TO CENTER, ANNE LOUISE, DON'T COME BACK, THESE HOURS (sounds like it could've been written and sung by James Taylor), oh, heck I like every song on this album. Chris Koch's songwriting is impeccable, and all the instrumentalists did a fantastic job. If you like James Taylor and Americana music buy this Album. You won't be disappointed.
