TEMPLE OF VENUS have born in Bologna (Italia) in far 1984.
There’s a legends saying we owe our name to the legendary Joy Division, as it was among the discarded ones when they decided to rename themselves as New Order.
The band plays new-wave straight from the 80’s and our lyrics are proudly in english. This is a hard challenge to take for an italian band, but we’ve been gratified for this choice by the good reviews we always had in Italy and abroad, in which we have been often compared to the master bands of that decade such as The Sound, Echo & The Bunnymen and The Cure and this is without doubt the better one compliments you can make us.
Our music ? Made of atmospheres and feelings, impressive guitars whose lines mixes with an obsessive bass while following precise melodies.
We create desire. We give emotions.
