“Get Back on the Highway” the new single from
New Jersey’s Ten Foot Tall Band Hits the Street

For Immediate Release

[Hopewell, NJ] Hopewell New Jersey’s Mountain Jazz Records announced today the latest single release “Get Back on the Highway” from the veteran roots rock band Ten Foot Tall. In a tale of searching, trials, tribulations, and new possibilities, Get Back on the Highway (The timeless cry of the road) written by James Popik, the band’s leader takes snapshots of places, feelings, dreams, and disappointments all wrapped up as a few chapters of life encapsulated in one sweeping vision with this stellar new release.

The record, produced by ™Grammy nominated producer and engineer David Ivory (Halestorm, The Roots, Silvertide) is the third effort from this unique and opulent rock band. Ten Foot Tall has toured extensively with past highlights including opening two shows for Marshall Tucker, a double bill with Robert Hazzard, and a support slot for legendary Dave Mason at the Tarrytown Music Hall in New York. The band was also invited to open a series of shows in the Northeast for Los Lonely Boys. The exciting high energy live performance of TFT is widely considered some of the best of the “art of Improvisation” by many.

While Popik, guitar, piano, and vocals, is the group’s undisputed leader, he is joined in the band by five other rock steady musicians, guitarist Jeff Page, bassist Luke Kessel, Keyboard player Pete Nardone, drummer Andy Janowiak, and the vocals and percussions of Jeanne Yarrow.

“Get Back on the Highway” really showcases the band with mature songwriting, and more diversity - It features different grooves, a broad selection of instrumentation, and a lot of soulful blues. The ass kicking new single is a blend of roots and southern rock grounded in blues. Popik’s influences range from The Allman Brothers, Jeff Beck, to Trane.

Get Back on the Highway is available for digital download on iTunes. To learn more about James Popik and the Ten Foot Tall Band you can visit their website at HYPERLINK "http://www.tenfoottallband.com" www.tenfoottallband.com
