Rebirth is an Urban Electronic Jazz music album. Imagine some kind of demented Parisian café band in a head-on collision with Miles Davis and Moby, and you get an idea of what this sounds like.

Eric Terdjman - Behind Rebirth
Eric Terdjman is a guitar player and composer of Electronic jazz music (fusion & acid jazz).
He was firstly guitar player and composer in an acid jazz music band « Eclyptics » from Paris, that he created with JC Ivala the singer in 2001.
The band was touring mainly in Paris and its suburbs. Eric also has collaborated with many singers to create songs for movies, music album, and jingle projects.
Eric began to produce alone his music in 2003 under its nickname Rico with a CD (5songs): this CD was a melt of rap and electronic jazz music.
Then he decided to focus only on instrumental music with few voice choruses.
Eric Terdjman has released his first music album « Rebirth » in May 2005.
This album contains real guitar, bass and keyboard with programmed drum loop.
There are 12 songs originally created and produced by Eric Terdjman.
Influenced by St Germain, Jamiroquai, and Bob Sinclar, Eric creates his own universe, a melt of jazz, funk and rock music with an electronic background.
Eric produced many songs: his experience with Eclyptics (funk music production) and as an
Artist "Rico" (electro rap) shows a creative composer who bring many kind of atmospheres in his music.
Eric Terdjman will spend most of his future time for touring and promoting his "Rebirth" album. Making electronic music by combining Jazz, Rock and Hip Hop music has been a challenging experience for this guitar player. It's only the beginning of a new kind of music and Eric believes on its own eclectic style. Judging from the feedback Eric Terdjman has received so far, his music has generated a lot of positive interest among jazz musician and performer and also from people interested by electronic music.

A nice "Birth" of this CD
author: Joost van SteenIf you are not used to this kind of jazz it takes some time to appreciate it, but for sure it will grow on you and yo will be glad it is in your collection, great guitar skills and compositions.

This record comes to us from Jerusalem where French guitar player and composer Eric Terdjman crafts electronic jazz music influenced by the likes of St Germain, Jamiroquai, Sinclair and Bob Sinclair. If you dig jazz and acid jazz you'll dig Eric's work. While some of the instruments sound artificial [horns] the ideas and compositions are solid. Rebirth was released in May 2005 and Eric will be touring and supporting the release.

This album has a jazz fusion feel, A la Paris. I like the Jamiroquai influence.
