Album Notes

"I've been a fan of Teresa's for a long time. I'm so glad to finally have this CD." Bonnie Raitt

Teresa was born and raised in Houston, Texas and now lives in Los Angeles, California. She has sung with Randy Newman, Delbert McClinton, Stephen Bruton, Glen Clark, Leroy Parnell, Kirk Whalum, Levon Helm among others.

"I haven't heard pipes of this caliber in a long time..........I think this is an amazing body of work.....this lady has star written all over her!"
James "Blues-Hound" Kagel
Producer/Programmer
KPFT Houston

Teresa along with her husband bassist/songwriter Terry Wilson have put together a 14 song "Debut" CD that draws on their Texas rock n' blues roots and reflects their southern American heritage. Terry (a founding member along with Paul Kossoff of England's Back Street Crawler) has had songs recorded by Paul Rodgers (Free & Bad Company), Eric Burdon & The Animals, Maria Muldaur and most recently Kathy Mattea among others.

"She is one of the most honest, gutsy, incredible singers you'll find. The Texas-bred James takes creative chances, investing amazing soul and spirit into her music."

Incredible..every song is great.! I just love it and play it over and over.

I had never heard Teresa James...went to an outdoor concert at the Pitt Fairgrounds in Greenville, NC April 2005,to hear Delbert McClinton. When this woman belted out 24,7.365...I fell in love. I seldom buy CDs because most of the time you get maybe one or two good songs and the rest a disappointment. I couldn't get her voice out of my head so I ordered this CD and I can only tell you, I downloaded it to my computer so I could make copies for my car, my CD player and listen to it when I am at home. I want to hear it all the time. I just can't get enough. Everyone that hears it falls in love with her voice and the songs. A great CD with nothing but great songs. My favorite is 24,7,365 but Meet My Maker is running close and the rest..just fantastic. This CD is one of those that even if you are in a bad mood, once you listen to it, no choice but to feel good! No doubt, I will be ordering any CD she has made or will make.

This is the best CD on CDBABY. A great voice that I could listen to 24/7. The lyrics are original and fun. The fullness of the instruments coupled with the vocals are smooth and flows like a river. Love it!

The Whole Enchilada made painting my utility room fun!
author: Cynthia Jackson
When I ordered this CD I hadn't heard any of the music on it. I put it on as I started the toilsome tast of painting my utility room. Ms James' rich and sultry voice combined with the heartfelt delivery of meanful lyrics was such a wonderful distraction to the dudrugy of painting that I didn't mind the task at all. Cut 14, I Got Trouble With Love, is my favorite. Although I can honestly say there isn't a disappointing cut on the entire CD. This is the kind of music I get, every note, every word....the whole enchilada.
