TERRAIN-ELECTRIC JAZZ QUARTET

Terrain is an all original contemporary jazz group based out of Calgary, Alberta. Their music is an exciting blend of jazz, funk, latin and pop sounds. Inearly 200, terrain released their self-titled debut CD. The follow up Cd Time To Travel, was released March2002. The band has toured jazz festivals throughout Western Canada and has performed/opened for such artisit as Ingrid Jensen, Jack Semple, Frank Mantooth and Chris Potter.
Terrain/Terrain consists of 11 original compositions, Time To Travel consists of 13 original compositions both produced by Hornby/Buschmeyer. The founding members and sole songwriters are Ralf Buschmeyer and Tyler Hornby.

Strong follow up to debut CD

Even better than the inaugural effort, the groove is stronger and the tones even better. Greater use of dynamics and even more mature writing give this CD a huge liftoff.
