If the laws of nature were obsolete, and singers Jewel and Allison Krauss conceived a singer/songwriter daughter of their own, she would sound like Terrie Long. This bold, sassy Texan will endear you with her versatility and use of dynamics. On her debut CD, you’ll hear her strong-minded views of being a woman in the south in her songs “For Me” and “Mr. Right Now”. You’ll see her vulnerability in “Little White Lies” and “Don’t Want to be That Strong”. She addresses social issues in “Shade of Grey” and “It’s Supposed to Be” and shows a bit of her playful side in “Something About You”. But the title track “Until Next Time” is where you really get a glimpse of her softer side. Currently you’ll find her playing in the Nashville area and promoting her album.
