Album Notes

Terry "Harmonica" Bean takes the blues to a new level and mixes Delta Style, Chicago Style and a little Motown together.

His harmonica playing is definitely great and is unlike any you will hear on any other albums.

Unlike his first album this album has a band backing him up and he holds his harmonica in his hands rather than using the brace that is typical of solo Delta Blues.

This allows a completely different range of sounds to be played.

On The last cut of this album Terry plays the Chromatic Harp which adds another unique sound and is one seldom heard these days. His idol is Little Walter.Little Walter played the chromatic harp more than anyone else and had a unique style that people loved.
There are 12 different positions that can be played on the harmonica. Most people never get past 1 which is straight harp and two which is cross harp.Terry plays in three positions on this album.
His playing will remind those who are blues enthusiasts of the playing style of Little Walter.

Terrys' band ,The House Rockers has won best band in North Mississippi five times. You will understand why when you get this album.
