My Mind Was a Mirror features chamber music involving classical guitar by Terry Champlin, classcial guitarist/composer. The title track is a beautiful song with lyrics based on a poem from Edgar Lee Master's "Spoon River Anthology." "Lullaby" manages to be heartbreaking and inspiring at the same time with its gentle melody and lyrics about love and loss. "Love Song and Variations" is a trio for violin, classical guitar and percussion. The piece was written as a wedding present for a musician couple who are long time friends of Terry's.
