I had the chance to hear Terry Evans live when he played at L D's Kitchen in Vicksburg in a performance sponsored by the Vicksburg Blues Society.   He was originally from Vicksburg, and stopped back home while on tour for a single performance.   The CD has 10 cuts with a total playing time of about 55 minutes.   It was recorded at Falcon Studios in Portland, Oregon, and mixed and mastered in Los Angeles.   It is a good collection ranging from some songs with a good toe tapping beat like "Honey Boy," to songs leaning towards spiritual like "I Wanna be close to you God."   All songs are originals written, arranged and produced by Terry Evans.   DD Baby offers the best price that I have found, but the live performances always give you a little extra with some audience interaction (and you can get autographed copies from Terry).   Keep an eye open for him in case he comes through your area on tour.
