Album Notes

Terry Gourley is a talented singer/songwriter, hailing from Baltimore, Maryland. Her debut CD, So Like a Child, features 10 beautiful songs, mostly about love, supporting children, and the beauty of nature. Terry's music is rich with sweet vocal harmonies, shimmering acoustic guitars, and country tinged electric lead tracks.

Gourley has performed countless gigs throughout Maryland and the surrounding area. At times she performs her music solo, and also as a duo with Tobias Hurwitz at her side on lead guitar. Once in a while she can be heard with a full band behind her, like at The DayJams rock music camp, where she is the voice teacher, or at The Carroll County Farm Fair, or other outdoor festivals.

Terry teaches guitar and voice in Towson, Maryland, and has received press in The Baltimore Sun, The Music Monthly, The Carroll County Times, and many other publications. Her thought provoking music evokes a feeling of soul searching and of yearning for something just out of reach in our daily lives. The new Terry Gourley CD is expected to be released this Summer.
