Having performed mostly as a "sideman" for over 30 years with many Jazz greats including Benny Golson and Frank Morgan, Terry momentarily steps away from his own ensemble (Terry Lower Septet) to center in on his Piano Trio(s) playing 12 selections on each disc of this 2-volume set of CD's. Along with Terry, you'll hear 4 different drummers and bassits playing anything from moody ballads to fast tempo be-bop with unique arrangemnts on Jazz standards and some "not-so-standard" tunes which lend themselves well to the acoustic piano trio setting.
