Terry Power is a much traveled troubadour who has traversed from here to there, and there and back. He has an attachment to old brown coats, and has been often witnessed adorned in what could only be described as such. The late nineties saw Terry teamed up with Stratford Ontario's pop rock quintet "Give".
When Give dismantled, Power began the process of penning his own album. Traveling extensively throughout Canada in a van with a barrage of different characters who were either going west or east was the fodder of much of the material you will hear on "Trails". Other travels took him as far away as South Asia, and Northern Europe, but it was back in Stratford where he teamed up with Producer Leighton Soltys to churn out this humble masterpiece.
It should be mentioned that some fine players grace these grooves:
Dr. Ben Payne Guitar/Vocals Miles Peart Bass Todd Britton Organ/Keyboards
Daniel Mullock Drums Tony Rozic Accordion Sharisse Ladouceur Vocals
Stephanie Rozek Vocals Terry Snell Vocals.
Now based out of Vancouver and working on his next release, we expect something new from Terry Power in the not too distant future
As a side man Pow has been playing guitar with The Lazare Halk band at such events as the World Peace Forum, and International Fest, with Weezee Brown and Dmon Simpson filling out the rhythm section.
