Terry Riley is the founder of Minimalism and revolutionized music with his 1964 composition IN C. He has toured world wide for almost 50 years as a pianist/composer/vocalist/keyboard player. He one of the first to pioneer looping techniques in live performance. He has written for all forms including orchestra, film, chamber music and choirs.
He was listed as one of the 1000 makers of the 20th Century by the Times of London.

Michael McClure is one of the legendary circle of Beat Poets that came to prominence in the 1950's along with Allen Ginsburg, Jack Kerouac and Gary Snyder. He has published and written numerous books of poetry and plays
and was the poetry mentor for Jim Morrison of THE DOORS.
He co-authored MERCEDES BENZ that was recorded by Janis Joplin and
has toured extensively with Ray Manzarek of THE DOORS giving numerous concerts of poetry with piano.
