Album Notes

Born grew up in Guyana South America. Some of my Favorite Horn Players were the late Grover Washington, King Curtis, and Cannonball Aderly. Many of us started to play music under difficult circumstances, no music in schools, but I knew I was born to play. I learned to play first a Guitar which I made my self and a harmonica which was purchased with a hard earned Quarter ($.25) 1967. So I played by heart with all my heart.
I started playing music professionally in the 1970s,and did a few tours in the Caribbean and South America. One high point in tour was playing with a Group that open a show for Lionel Richie and the Commodores November 1979 in Trinidad and Tobago.

A few years after I came to the USA a close relative of mine who lived here gave me an album and said that this guy sound like the way I normally play. That guy turned out to be Kenny G.

I made My first two albums in year of 2000 and 2001. They are, In His Presence and Golden Gospel and the year 2003 Joy at Night.

It's a CD for every age group. I found myself dancing to #8 and #9 which were my favorite ones including #11. Overall I love the CD, it's the "BOMB!" Music like this is hard to find. Excellent work on "WHAT CHILD IS THIS"... I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT!

"While listening to this CD, I found my self daydreaming and reflecting on all the wonderful memories of Christmas' past". This CD is comprises of alot of your Seasonal favorites such as Silver Bells, Little Drummer Boy and O'Holy Night, melodiously played by someone with a passion for music. What elevates this Christmas CD from all others is the way two of our all time favorites have a Caribbean flavor to them that makes you more than want to nod your head and tap your feet. While richly entertaining, it's also deeply heartwarming at the same time. With this man on the Saxophones, Vocals and lyrics become overated....

Excellent Instrumental Christmas CD
author: Dallas L. Jones

As a lover of Christmas music, I would have to rate this album as being one of the best instrumental Christmas CDs that I have ever come across. It not only captures that “hot chocolate on a cold winter’s day” feeling through songs like "Silver Bells" and "The First Noel", but it can also propel you to hot summer nights in the Caribbean with the first beat from "Joy to the World" or "Feliz Navidad". This is an excellent CD that I would recommend to anyone looking for music that speaks to the heart as well as the soul.
