Tessie Hill earned national recognition when she emerged
on the national scene in the mid seventies singing her smash hit album titled, “Tessie Hill.” From this album collection emerged a string of hits. Before long, the album turned "GOLD" and Tessie was Presented by ‘Record World” magazine “Artist of The Year Award." Among the string of hits from this album were, “Great Things,” "(God Sure Can Change Things,)Yes He Can,” and “Don’t Forget to Remember (Where All Your Blessings Come From).”

The unique sound and style of Tessie's voice sets her apart from all other GOspel singers. Much Like the late, great Mahalia Jackson, Tessie,is capable of belting out a robust and powerful sound. A singer among singers,few Gospel singers have achieved the status and recognition earned by this artist. Tessie is admired and respected by both musicians and singers alike.

Like her “Great Things album,” this CD was written, produced and arranged by the legendary Eddie C. Robinson. The program consist of a balance of Contemporary, with special emphasis on Traditional Gospel music.

Once again, two legendary giants of Gospel have teamed up to bring you a spirit filled experience in Gospel Music.

Formerly of Detroit, MI, Tessie Hill–Ackey now resides in Georgia with her husband Bishop Steven Ackey where they travel together singing and preaching the Gospel and spreading the 'Good News.'
