Album Notes

The Austin School of Music, KLBJ-FM and Chuy's Restaurants in Austin, Texas combined efforts to put togehter a compilation of original music by some of the best guitarists and musicians in Texas and the world. This album was conceived to benefit the Texas Council on Family Violence and the National Domestic Violence Hotline. Musicians took the cause to heart and contributed some great original music with lyrics tied closely to the situation, especially Stephen Doster's pop/folk cut titled You Can't Touch Her Anymore or Chris Duarte's rockin' song aptly titled Violence. This album is truly a mix amazing music including instrumental rock, jazz, classical, pop and true Texas blues.
