Album Notes

Texas T was raised in El Paso, Texas and is where his family is based out of. Texas T and his family were living in various cities from San Diego, California to Boise, Idaho where his mother would eventually fall in love with the weather/scenery which is the complete opposite from the weather/scenery in El Paso, Texas.

Boise, Idaho is where he found the passion for music as a teenager and where he started flowing over instrumentals at house parties and also the city where he performed at for the first time with his group called "Tha Krime Family" which did release one album titled "Blood Is Thicker Than Water" which stood for family first because "Tha Krime Family" was a group he formed with his two brothers. They called themselves "Tha Krime Family" because they were all in trouble with the Law in Idaho and Texas T was almost sent to prison for 15 years for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon in 1999, a charge that was thrown out in court because no witnesses testified.

He was released from jail and made the decision to turn his life around and started by enrolling into college at Boise State University where he was studying Business Management. Texas T used his student loans to purchase the studio equipment that recorded his two albums "Blood Is Thicker Than Water" and his Solo Album "Chillaxed" which was released in 2003.

Boise, Idaho wasn't having too many hip-hop shows so Texas T took it upon himself to become a promoter and brought artists such as Tech N9ne, Chingo Bling & E-40 into Boise, Idaho that way he would be able to perform in front of bigger crowds on a consistent basis to promote himself to more fans. With Hard Work & Dedication he quickly became Boise, Idaho's top promoter/artist and started to work for Tech N9ne's label Strange Music Inc. on a regular and worked his way up the ladder from a local opener to a regional opener in which he would open sold out shows in Boise, Idaho , Spokane, Washington & Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Texas T was doing so well in the Northwest that he was recognized by Tech N9ne and Strange Music CEO Travis O'Guin for his hard work and became a Northwest favorite with the fans.

Chingo Bling remembered coming out to Boise, Idaho and performing at a sold out show with 1,100 people before his first album "Tamale Kingpin" dropped and was curious how that could happen all the way out in Idaho and the the only way Texas T can explain it is: "I was hustlin' on the streets and was showing love to artists from the 208 by putting them on the show if they sold tickets and with that recipe we pre-sold 500 tickets, radio didn't wanna promote the show because at the time they didn't know who Chingo Bling was either, so we called the event a Hip-Hop Festival and went to the streets and all 12 artists that helped push tickets got to perform...we did it as a unit and still to this day that was the biggest local show in Boise, Idaho history".

Almost, 10 years later Texas T has linked back up with Chingo Bling who recognizes Texas T as a true hustler with some serious skills in promoting/managing and has asked Texas T to be apart of his Team based out of Houston, Texas. Details coming very soon! #TeamChingo
