Texas Tycoonz have been in the game for several years. Gaining much noteriety locally they decided to expand their fanbase and venture into new markets. The Texas Tycoonz hail from Seguin, Texas, which is located between Houston and San Antonio, off of Interstate 10. Deciding to branch into bigger markets the Tycoonz were looking for the right avenue. With so many "new comers" in the game today,they knew that going at it alone would be near impossible. Thats when they decided to enlist the help of Big Tuck from DSR(Dirty South Rydaz). Tuck has been burning up the underground for years and just helped secure DSR and T-town music a 7 million dollar deal with Universal, selling over 100,000 copies of his cd "Purple Hulk." So with cd in hand the Tycoonz first hit their hometown, Seguin, which devoured the disc and put the guys on a whole new level. Again armed with the cd they hit Tucks hometown, Dallas, Texas, where they were met with the same love their own town had shown them. After moving several hundred cds out of the trunk in a matter of a few short weeks, between Dallas and Seguin, they decided to step it up a notch. Seeking out the right distribution avenue was the next step. Thats where we are now. Cd Baby seemed to be the way to go. So thats a little on the Texas Tycoonz for now.
