In 2001, four young teenagers set out to form a singing group, one girl and three guys. Like any young enthusiastic singers, their list of artiste they idolized was huge ranging from Bob Marley, Jr. Gong, Shaggy, Sean Paul, John Legend, Brian McKnight, Luther Vandrous, Mariah Carey and many more.
The make up of T.FRENZ is brother and sister Tameika “Tammi T.” Moncrieffe and Ruel ’Clive’ Moncrieffe who both hail from Montego Bay, St. James, Jamaica. Cregg Morrison also from Montego Bay, and Hugh ‘HUGO’ Dawes from Mandeville, Manchester, Jamaica. They all performed in local church choirs as well as festivals, when they were kids.
In 2005, the group began working on their first album “Prologue” and with the help of experienced musicians from Kingston and Montego Bay, the album was completed in 2006. A single ‘Believe’ from the album was chosen to be the Sailing Theme Song for PEACE BOAT (Japan-based international NGO) 54th World Cruise 2006.
T.FRENZ is ready to rock the world with a new generation of Reggae Music.
