Tyrone Greaves started singing at an early age in Hope road St Lucy in the choir of church of the Nazarene . Soon after he immigrated to England from Barbados as a teenager, he quickly persue his love for music by trying out for a few local bands in Ipswich England, After a try out for the popular talant show Opertunnity Knocks his big break came when he became the lead singer in the Lemon HONEY BAND,it was there he discoverd his writing abilities. After a number of successful years with them he decided New York would be a good move after hearing that his Island music was very popular there. He soon started doing some shows in the clubs, after one of his shows he was asked to be apart of a compilation album that was been done for the Barbados CROP OVER festival which he did and continues to do for the past eleven years. Now he presents his latest solo album title SWEET RASTA BABY which was release for the 2007 carnival. This is his second solo album which is a mixture of reggae, soca , calypso & raga-soca. Tyrone Greaves is already busy writing new material for a number of artist for the 2008 crop over festival in Barbados, so pick up a copy of SWEET RASTA BABY which I am confident you all will enjoy.
