Album Notes

This is Tony’s first solo album . He has played bass on numerous CD’s over the past twenty years for other artists but has never produced his own. Tony, with the help of other very talented musicians whom he has worked with over the years, has produced an album that will take the listener on a journey of beautiful landscapes and unexpected turns. At times, the music is reminiscent of the churning grooves heard on Brian Eno's and David Byrne's 'My Life in the Bush of Ghosts', while another track evokes elements found in David Sylvian's more ambient works.

Tony took the liberty to explore his primary instruments, acoustic and electric basses, in various roles, sometimes melodic, sometimes hypnotic grooves, and sometimes freely improvised musical statements. He also incorporated his musical skill with loops, samples, guitars, and smattering of offbeat toys laying around his studio.
