Album Notes

Zane Ruttenberg of Thanks Light… was born and raised in San Antonio Texas. In his later high school years, after building a cramped recording studio in his parents old exercise room Mother Kissed the Sun was created. The album’s goal, says Ruttenberg, was to mix as many genres and song structures as he knew to create a more diverse album. Presently living in Austin Texas (the live music capitol of the world) he works simultaneously on other projects including such musicians/groups as Sleep Good, Miclaw, and Bill Baird’s {{{Sunset}}}. Following the completion of his first album Ruttenberg hopes to play Thanks Light… live with the help of some good friends.
