Due to computer failure at the Brilliance In Action offices, the artwork and masters have been compromised. Consequently, future copies of the 2004 series are not forthcoming. Prices have risen to reflect the rarity of these releases.
After overcoming several technical difficulties, a brief identity crisis, and some personnel challenges, Brilliance in action is proud to announce the release of the 12th, and final, installment of the Brilliance In Action 2004 cycle.
With this release also the andrewrollercoaster has announced that he is retiring the name, along with the A.R.C. initials. "The reasons for the name are gone, and the period of exploring its meaning is over," he says. Expect a new and different version to appear in 2005 and beyond.
As for 'December', it is a review of 2004, as well as a glance towards the future. You won't find much new here, except perhaps a greater exploration of dance beats and sonic textures. The centerpiece of the album is "Remembrance of Summer Past" which recollects a piece from each BIA album from 2004 as processed and re-constructed by the andrewrollercoaster. This epic ambient trainwreck is certain to lead you down darker corridors than you'd like. Or you can skip it and be left at the station.
We at Brilliance In Action hope you had a good 2004. Welcome (belatedly) to 2005, and may it be a good year for you as well.
