The Bisserov family developed their musical and artistic activities, following the natural path of continuity. Live performances of the new generation Bisserov start from their early childhood. Vocal abilities were inherited and developed in a family environment from their mothers – The Bisserov Sisters. Instrumentalists from the family began to learn playing on musical instruments from eight years old.
The repertoire of the Bisserov Sisters and Family includes the most typical features of folk music dialect of the Pirin region: the combination of sound inherent in the primitive diphthong, rich, flexible and diverse metro-rhythm, expressive performance.
Songs of the Bisserov Sisters and Family are very multifarious: wedding, spring, singing at work, mythical, tracks the lives of families, love, religious, haidouk, table songs – strictly rhythmic or non measured, primitive with rich ornamentation, typical shouting and raising of unspecified locations.
