THE BUSINESSMEN Punk Alternative Rock Retro Wave Band

CDBaby presents the bona fide first, original rock music band known as THE BUSINESSMEN.

From their wild stage shows in Texas during the early days of new wave, punk, and hard rock music up to the present day, THE BUSINESSMEN have pioneered a style of music and show in which they were the first to name as: vaudeville rock. Currently the band is dual-based in Atlanta,GA and Houston,TX and is still rocking hard today!

The Businessmen have performed in Concert shows with: The Police, The Ramones, Robert Gordon, Chris Spedding, and many other national & international bands; and also major Festivals, Benefits, and Events.

The music of THE BUSINESSMEN has continued growing from punk & groove to the point that their 1982 vinyl LP release 'Live From Space City' (2003 Reissue CD --- Interchange Records) truly reveals to listeners a band playing Alternative Rock music many years ahead of the birth of the Seattle alternative music scene. You can check it out for yourself! The vinyl LP is out of print, and is available only on auction sites as an in demand Music Collectors item. The REISSUE CD contains 3 bonus Studio Singles, and is now available at CDBaby!
