ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
There’s some great children’s music that hits the sweet spot of being loved by the kids and enjoyed by the parents. Then there’s everything else. Since becoming a parent, I have thought it would be fun to write children’s music that could be enjoyed by kids and parents alike.

In the summer/fall of 2011, I was blessed with being awarded a sabbatical by the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation. During my time off, I would go on long runs where I would write music. My kids road-tested the songs, and the result is this album. We had a great time together. I hope you enjoy it as well.
