BIO ENGLISH: After several years of underground activism, THE DADDS released their second album on GROOVIE RECORDS (LP) (April 2009) and GREEN COOKIE (CD). Formed in 2002 in western France, the band is playing one of the most groovy and stylish garage rock. Influenced by the best of French psychedelic pop and the mod/freakbeat sound of Carnaby street, our five young beatniks take up the energy, spirit and ingeniousness of primeval rock n’ roll again. BIO FRENCH: Après des années d’activisme underground, les DADDS ont sorti en avril 2009 leur deuxième album. Formé en 2002 à Saint-Lô, le groupe pratique un rock garage des plus groovy et stylés. Influencés par le meilleur de la pop psychédélique française et les sons mod/freakbeat de Carnaby street, nos jeunes beatniks normands retrouvent la candeur des 60’s et la hargne du rock n' roll des origines. Signalons également que les DADDS chantent en français et que les textes valent leur pesant de cacahuètes…
