Singer/Songwriting musicians Dave Cooper and Glen Granthem and Dave’s long time wordsmith Ralph Donkin team up on a brand new album project for 2012 thanks to the internet and modern technology. Dave and Glen became friends after discovering each other’s solo sites on Jukeboxalive. Even though Dave calls the United Kingdom home and Glen resides in the United States of America, these two creative veteran musicians are finding a way to make their new CD project come to life. The collaboration is made very easy with both musicians contributing a huge library of original material to explore and share.
Dave said it best in an early email "I love sitting with a blank page and slowly filling it in to make a sound picture." Their goal is simple. Fresh input, positive feedback, creative fun while making great music to share and enjoy. Although separated by an ocean and thousands of air miles, thanks to the internet it truly is a small world. Music has no boundaries or limitations in these two songwriters’ eyes. Challenge is a good thing. Recorded magic makes it all worthwhile. Cheers to all who listen

Ralph Donkin: Inspiration and lyrics
We start out with heart felt understandable lyrics from life’s journey, mix them in a bowl flavored with folk undertones, stir in a bit of tasty musicianship, then bake it all in a pure rock ‘n’ roll oven at 500 degrees for about an hour, let it cool then sprinkle on a couple of top notch vocalists. We call this blended dish The DGR Band.
